Alexis + Alex Get Married! // The Colony, Portland OR

Alexis and Alex (OMG yes, those are their real names and it is super amazing) got married a month and a half ago in Portland, OR—and they brought me back to one of my favorite cities to shoot it! These two chose The Colony in St John’s for their venue (which was perfect, because that venue is heaven). I spent a year getting to know these guys via social media and email, and every single part of it was a blast. Enjoy:

Engaged: Bridgette + Evan in Nashville

Bridgette + Evan were just married in Nashville a few days ago… and a couple of weeks before that, I got to hang with these two and shoot engagement photos! We hit up Nashville’s pedestrian bridge and the Parthenon (both of which made for ex-cell-ent photo opportunities)  and had so much fun while doing so—even with the incredibly horrible and hot temps.

Engaged in Alabama // Getting Lost in the in Woods Has Never Been So Nice

A few months ago I drove down to Alabama and spent a couple of hours running around with these two. The day was pretty glorious: great weather, beautiful light, cheesy but nice folk songs playing on public radio (ok, maybe not everyone would prioritize that last one), and the shoot was so mellow and relaaaaaaaxed. Thanks to these two for a great day, and many, many great photos.

Lindsay + Dan // Church on Main Wedding in Chattanooga

I was scrolling through my work from last year the other morning and I realized that YOU GUYS: I never shared this extremely fun, beautiful wedding. I shot this right after we moved here last summer, and I think between the haze of moving and getting to know all new couples, it fell under the radar. Whatever the cause, I am so happy to be sharing it today, because Lindsay and Dan had the sweetest Chattanooga wedding and I was so pumped to be part of it. After taking photos near the Hunter Museum, the entire event took place at Chattanooga’s Church on Main. This was my first time to visit the venue and whew: can we say gorgeous?
